The Monticello is my favorite. I did buy some beans in New Orleans that had some Chicory in them. Like 10%. I thought it gave it a nice flavor, unlike the 50/50 blends I’ve had before.

Folgers listed as number one coffee to avoid. Please don’t shoot the messenger. Ive drank my share of folgers instant in iraq. Take water bottle, fill with folgers instant. Tie on roof of vehicle and in 30 minutes or less you have piping hot instant Folgers with lots of caffeine.
If really desperate just put coffee crystals straight into mouth…

My folks always drank Folgers. So did my grandparents in Minneapolis. They drank coffee by the gallon especially my Scandinavian relatives. It made my head spin there was so much caffeine in it.
I spent six months in the Amazon. Brazilian coffee is not very good, but cheap and plentiful.
Ole's wife, Myrtle, would make peanut butter coffee cake to go with the strong Scandinavian coffee. Huge sugar and caffeine buzz followed. I was hallucinating.

Yes, there is a lot of caffeine! It’s great for a first cup, but too much… not good
